Master of Arts in International Relations
The M.A. in International Relations program at Paragon International University aims to equip students with advanced knowledge and professional skills essential to excel in international affairs. The study covers both the theories and practical skills required to affect global change, thus enhancing the foreign relations and diplomatic profession. Upon completion, students will possess a comprehensive understanding of international relations and can work in various roles within organizations such as foreign ministries, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations.
Program Objectives
M.A. in IR program aims to:
- Equip students with knowledge and understanding of pressing regional and inter-national issues (with a focus on Southeast Asia)
- Enhance participants’ analytical abilities to assess and predict, and prescript effective policies and strategies
- Provide leadership and management skills for public affairs and global governance driven by valuable ethical values
- Expand understanding and grasp on major dimensions of our relations through research-intensive courses and specialisations.
- Broaden students understanding and engagement in matters of global peace, security and cooperation with critical analytical tools
- Equip students with further competence and professional skills to work in international organisations, government bodies and non-governmental organisations by carefully prepared study topics carrying impactful learning experiences
